CIA Sunday with DJ Jerzy and Justin Tranter

DJ Jerzy joined the Chicago nightlife scene back when he was still considered to be jail bait, sneaking into clubs, hosting and promoting for various parties. Jerzy signed on as the baby of a promotions crew and quickly learned how to balance the demands of his freshman year in college with the chaos of touring clubs and campuses around the Midwest. While promoting Jerzy was introduced to key players at one of Chicago’s top radio stations, B96. With his foot in the door, he began interning during his sophomore year, which then led to a consecutive internship for the launch of the Stylz and Roman night show. The Cinderella story continued that same year after months of demo shopping when Jerzy was given the opportunity to fill in for his first on-air shift on radio—let alone on B96.

Justin Tranter
Justin Tranter is an American musician and jewelry designer. He is most famous as the lead singer of Semi Precious Weapons, a New York “garage glam” rock band. His jewelry line, Fetty, is sold in major stores like Barneys New York, Urban Outfitters and Hot Topic.
